About Us
A psychology practice for work, study, and careers.
We're a psychology practice working across three areas: therapy and counselling for the impacts of work; coaching psychology for the work of leading well, at any stage; and specialist workplace psychology for the obligations and incidents organisations carry.
Each rests on the same evidence base, the same regulatory framework, and the same disposition: the work in front of someone is real, the stakes matter, and the right help is specific.
Why "11th Hour"?
Many of the people and organisations we work with arrive feeling like they've run out of options. The usual responses haven't worked. The pattern hasn't shifted. The incident has happened. The point of crisis is close or already here.
The name is a deliberate choice. The eleventh hour is the moment when change is still possible, but only just and the right help, at exactly that moment, makes a disproportionate difference. We built the practice for that moment, and for the work of preventing it from arriving again.
How we work
We use an integrated biopsychosocial framework and this model underpins modern clinical and organisational psychology. It treats people, and teams, as more than the symptom presenting that day.
- Biological: fatigue, sleep, the nervous system, physical recovery.
- Psychological: mood, trauma history, beliefs, learned responses, identity.
- Social: relationships, team dynamics, workplace culture, role, family system.
Most of what people bring sits across all three. Working at one level alone, calming the body, or talking through the thoughts, or restructuring the team usually leaves the others untreated, and the change doesn't hold. The work is to address them coherently.
What guides us
Five things:
- We are honest about fit. If coaching, therapy, or a referral elsewhere is the right answer, even if it isn't us, we'll say so.
- We work from the evidence. Research informs the practice, not the latest framework or proprietary method.
- We hold the regulatory frame. AHPRA regulated. Trauma-informed. Accountable.
- We listen well. Most of the work begins there, and a lot of it stays there.
- We don't over claim. Therapy and coaching can do a great deal. They have limits, and we'll tell you what they are.
Where to start
If you're working out which part of the practice fits what you're facing:
- Support: for the impacts of work, study or career on your own wellbeing.
- Leadership: for the project of leading well, at any stage.
- Safety: for organisational engagements, psychosocial duty, and incident response.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your staff, or your organisation, we're available to help.
